'PotluckLane started off with one vision: to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Bianchi kin in 1985, our pizza shop was originally a tiny enterprise operated by our family, with recipes passed on for generations.
Marco Bianchi, the progenitor, mastered the craft of pizza-making while journeying across Italy, studying with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples — the cradle of pizza. When she came back to the UK, her aim was to replicate the enchantment of authentic Italian pizza, employing age-old techniques and the most impeccable ingredients.
Starting with a humble 12-seater pizzeria, we've become a cherished fixture locally, though our devotion to craftsmanship and genuineness stands firm. We continue to utilize wood-fired ovens, freshly prepare our dough everyday, and choose top-tier ingredients that are available to us.
To this day, 'PotluckLane' is operated by the Bianchi family, now with the second generation leading our dedicated team. Despite embracing modern updates, we old on to our core: making delightful, genuine pizza that unites our customers.
